How/can you update a Blackberry 8703e's software?

I have an old 8703e, it is no longer "in service" (I had it with Verizon years ago, since then have got a new phone on Sprint), however I use it sometimes for organization purposes. Is there anyway that I can update the device software? It is running v4.1 right now and I though I read somewhere that there was a newer version for that model. Also, is there anyway that I can put ring tones on it by connecting it to a computer?
