Is a V6 fast compared to a V4? please help ME!!!?

im looking into getting a Pontiac Fiero GT 1988 for my first car. i know a little about cars. at least for a girl. but is a V6 fast? like compared to a V4 ? i know its nothing like a V8 but someone please help me. thank you so much.
